The Mestre Fernando Rodrigues Art School in Lagoa is starting its series of classes every third Saturday of the month, from 3pm to 6pm

    – February 17, 2022

Working with clay is like touching the earth – it has therapeutic properties, and, starting this Saturday, February 19, everyone is invited to learn to sculpt with this material.

Leading the classes will be teacher Sandra Afonso, with a degree in Plastic Arts and Sculpture from the Fine Arts School of Porto University, who will focus on the exploration of form, as well as deconstructing the images of the world and of ourselves, deconstructing stereotypes and allowing the students to rejoice in the pleasure of creating and working with clay.

To begin, students will be introduced to sculpting and later gain new knowledge and sculpting skills.

    Details

These classes are for all adults interested in plastic arts in general or with some previous artistic knowledge.

Participation in the classes will have an associated cost, with all necessary materials included, and it is subject to online confirmation through this email:  escola.artes@lagoa.pt (there is a limit of 8 students)
